It has characters following a path that gives them specific stat boosts and abilities that can later be left by using Key Spheres. ![]() The differences between the two grids is that the Standard is how most people probably remember the game and was the only option before the International Version. When starting a brand new game, the game asks you what Sphere Grid type you would like to use you can choose Standard or Expert. Go ahead and watch the video for your first trophy you have to let it run all the way through otherwise you won't get credit. The first option is the game while the second option is a roughly 15 minute video of what happens in-between X and X-2. You do this by choosing it from the main menu when you first boot up the game. When you've beaten the game, you should take the time to watch the Eternal Calm video for its trophy. Whether you clear the game first or not doesn't matter as this is the time when all side events are possible. ![]() You can go ahead and beat the game or instead explore the side content to earn trophies before you finish the game. Once you've gained the Airship, you are near the end of the game. Sun Sigil (Not trophy-related, used to power up Tidus's Celestial Weapon) Valefor's Second Overdrive (Not trophy-related, but useful) Once you have the Airship you'll be able to return to previous areas, but be warned that some places now have Dark Aeons guarding them and things you may have originally missed will now be blocked until you defeat the Dark Aeon. As you continue through the game, it opens up a bit when you reach the Calm Lands and then completely opens up when you gain the Airship. You should also make a note to find the Destruction Sphere item in every Temple as that's a requirement to earn Anima. You'll need to take notice of the Al Bhed Primers as they appear immediately at the beginning of the game and you should always obtain them immediately. When you start and play the game you'll notice that it is very linear. Take note that some can be missed and obtained later, but it's best to earn them at the earliest possible moment. It requires you to collect all 26 Al Bhed Primers and if you miss one of the ones that can be missed, you'll have to restart the entire game. When going for this Platinum you should take note of the one missable trophy. They're both HD Remasters of the International Version of the game, which means there may be changes in the game from how you remember it this is because there were small tweaks in in the game aside from the extra content.
